| | | Rule #1: Whatever the chat mod says, goes, unless it's something ridiculous
Rule #2: No sexism or racism at all
Rule #3: Do not disrespect other members
Rule #4: Do not ask WHEN the server is going to be up daily, ask once, get your answer, and assume that's the answer for the next day
Rule #5: Feel free to ask if the server is up currently, but please don't do it every ten minutes.
Rule #6: Quite obviously, no spam
Rule #7: No talking to yourself, it's quite annoying and will be considered spam
Rule #8: No advertising other gaming sites. That is to say, no saying it's name, or linking
Rule #9: Bad language is not tolerated, do not say things to override the bad word filter
Rule #10: Do not have more than one window open to chatango. We know you're there, no need to be there fifty times
Rule #11: We know that alot of people use roms however if you don't own the game, it's illegal so don't talk about them
Rule #12: No Cybering of any kind, take it to private
Rule #13: Do not spam the same smilie without providing reason to use the smilie
Rule #14: Do not use only caps to speak all the time. Also include spaces throughout your sentences. It's fine for a few times but otherwise it's annoying and spam.
Rule #15: Do not use bright text on bright backgrounds or dark on dark backgrounds (please, if someone at all asks you to change, then please change your text color)
Rule #16: Do not use overly small text at all. Only mods can judge what's too small
Rule #17: If chat mods see that you are being very annoying and disturbing other players then you can and likely will be banned (never tell a mod to enforce this rule!)
Rule #18: We don't like moderating fights, take them to pm Big Grin
Rule #19: Mods are not to share IPs. Do not ask for them
Rule #20: Just because something isn't listed here doesn't mean you can get away with it. Please use common sense.
Rule #21: A ban in chatango could in fact result in an in-game ban or a forum ban or both. Depends on the degree of your ban.
